Handcrafted Wood Block Photo Prints from the Netherlands
The images are printed and adhered to the wood block (instead of being printed directly on the wood) so photographs retain their high quality. Covered with a protective layer for water and light resistance, each block is created to stand the test of time. Additionally, they are from the Netherlands. The protective layer adds a unique look, and the subtle charm of a painted piece is a beautiful marriage of modern technological photo design and rustic handwork. This process is done entirely by hand, meaning each is a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Because each piece is crafted individually, they require their own print laying, finishing, coating, and drying time.

FAQ
It depends on each family but usually there will be 60 or more images.
My family sessions take place outdoors during the golden hour, which is the last hour before sunset, to capture that beautiful, soft golden light. I love scheduling sessions during this time to ensure we capture the best moments. However, if your children usually go to bed around sunset, we can schedule the session for midday. Just keep in mind that the lighting will be different from the soft golden light of sunset.
If the weather isn’t agreeable on the day of the session, I will gladly reschedule to another agreeable date.
The editing process typically takes around 2 to 3 weeks. During this time,I carefully select and retouch the best images from your session. I want to ensure that each photograph reflects our high standards of quality and artistry.

Yes! I call them "short sessions" and I exclusively offer them during special events held a couple of times each year. I normally host a spring motherhood event and a fall family event. If you're interested, feel free to reach out for more details. Also, make sure you're on my email list so you don't miss out when I announce them!
Yuka is incredibly dedicated in her work. Our photoshoot was a particularly foggy evening ( which suddenly came on us and was not in the weather forecast)on the cliffside of the beach without any light available . Yuka was able to capture very picturesque scenes along with emotion .She had a vision of how it work to our advantage and I only think this speaks numbers on her skill level and also creativity. I am also quite a particular person when it comes to photography and Yuka listened to my thoughts and was able to bring it to life.

Yuka was introduced to me by my Japanese friend. On the day of the photoshoot, it became a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and I believe she skillfully brought out the natural and cute expressions of my children, along with her assistant. I hired Yuka for a branding photo session. I'm a makeup artist. Yuka approached the photoshoot with specific considerations such as 'What impression do I want the client to have?' and 'What kind of clients do I want to attract?' On the day of the photoshoot, Yuka suggested poses, brought out the image I wanted to convey, and captured even more wonderful photos than I had imagined! Looking at the photos, I feel motivated to create a website right away, thinking about concepts and words... It feels like my dream is coming closer to reality. With children aged 5, 3, and 3 months, it may take some time for my dream to come true, but I want to use the photos you took, Yuka, as a beacon of my heart and do my best!
