To secure your booking, a session fee is required. This fee covers the photographer's time and expertise during the session. Please note that the session fee is separate from the cost of any digital collection and does not include any images, either printed or digital.

After your session, within 2 weeks, you'll receive an email with your slideshow and edited images. Preview for 7 days, choose from three collections, then enjoy your full gallery for 3 months.

Being a mom myself to Estelle, born in 2021, I understand the importance of making your photo session both enjoyable and comfortable. With a baby-led and child-led approach, we'll work at a pace that ensures your little one is comfortable and content throughout the session. This approach allows for those peaceful, serene poses that highlight the delicate features of your beautiful family.

We feel fortunate to call San Diego home, with its abundance of stunning locations perfect for family photo sessions, such as Balboa Park, beaches, trails, and more. For beach sessions, optimal tide conditions are crucial. Locations like Scripps Pier, Windansea, and La Jolla are best during low to mid-tide. However, at Coronado Beach, tide concerns are not an issue.

Outdoor family sessions are a great idea no matter the season. They usually take place in the evening during the golden hour, to capture those beautifully lit images. You can choose your own location for a photo session or can pick from the locations I usually shoot at. Outdoor family photography allows us to capture both posed portraits and those fleeting, candid moments. Perfect for families with active kids too.

Typically, we begin photographing in the morning to take advantage of optimal lighting conditions. You can relax and enjoy your session in the comfort of your own home! Anything can happen, and chaos is welcome—there's no need to worry about a thing.
FAQ
It depends on each family but usually there will be 60 or more images.
My family sessions take place outdoors during the golden hour, which is the last hour before sunset, to capture that beautiful, soft golden light. I love scheduling sessions during this time to ensure we capture the best moments. However, if your children usually go to bed around sunset, we can schedule the session for midday. Just keep in mind that the lighting will be different from the soft golden light of sunset.
If the weather isn’t agreeable on the day of the session, I will gladly reschedule to another agreeable date.
The editing process typically takes around 2 to 3 weeks. During this time,I carefully select and retouch the best images from your session. I want to ensure that each photograph reflects our high standards of quality and artistry.
Absolutely! I offer a range of high-quality prints, albums, and other products to showcase your photographs. I will guide you through the ordering process and help you select the perfect products to display and cherish your images.
Since I have a young child, I only travel as far as Los Angeles County. Please contact me for more information.
Yes! I call them "short sessions" and I exclusively offer them during special events held a couple of times each year. I normally host a spring motherhood event and a fall family event. If you're interested, feel free to reach out for more details. Also, make sure you're on my email list so you don't miss out when I announce them!

On the day of the photoshoot, Yuka suggested poses, brought out the image I wanted to convey, and captured even more wonderful photos than I had imagined! Looking at the photos, I feel motivated to create a website right away, thinking about concepts and words... It feels like my dream is coming closer to reality.
