photography tips
Running a successful photography business takes more than just a camera. Over the years, I’ve discovered several essential tools that help me stay organized, deliver photos seamlessly, and maintain a professional online presence. Below are my go-to tools, and I’m excited to share referral discount links so you can start using them too!
I use Pic-Time to deliver galleries to my clients. It’s perfect for creating beautiful online galleries where clients can view, download, and even order prints. I previously used Zenflio, but Pic-Time stands out for its design, user-friendliness, no commission fees, and more! I’ve been using it since 2019. Enjoy one month FREE with the link below.
This platform helps me streamline my bookings, manage client sessions, and keep everything organized in one place. If you’re looking to simplify your scheduling, Session.com is a game-changer. I’ve tried Unscripted, Honeybook, Jotform, but I love Session.com’s simplicity. I’ve been using it since 2019.
My website is built on Showit. It offers beautiful, customizable templates and a super user-friendly interface that allows me to showcase my work professionally. I previously used ProPhoto, SmugMug and Zenflio. While Showit is a bit more expensive, it’s my top recommendation for its beautiful design and ease of use, which makes managing and updating your website much simpler—crucial for running a business. I used to struggle with updating my ProPhoto website, even with my web designer background, because it was so complicated. Get one month FREE with the link below.

You can use Flodesk to design and send on-brand marketing emails, all in one place. It allows you to publish opt-in forms to grow your list and build powerful email automations. I used to use Mailchimp, but I prefer Flodesk, even though it’s quite expensive since I don’t send email newsletters often. Get 50% off your first year with the link below.
For all my graphic design needs, Canva is my go-to tool. Whether it’s designing marketing materials, social media posts, or client brochures and pricing PDFs, Canva makes everything easy and professional!

I previously used Paypal , but Square’s fees are lower, which makes it a better choice for my business.
I use Adobe Photoshop and ACR for editing. These tools allow me to enhance my images while staying true to my style.
Evoto is a super powerful and time-saving (life-saving!) AI photo editor. I don’t use it for all my photos, but I rely on it for close-up portrait photos, especially for skin retouching. This AI editor is seriously a game-changer, and I highly recommend it. The price is also surprisingly affordable.
Imagen AI is another AI photo editing tool. I’m still figuring out how to use it perfectly, but their culling feature is a huge time-saver. Get 1,500 free photo edits with the link below.
These are just a few of the tools that have made a big difference in running my photography business smoothly and efficiently. There are many other tools I use as well, and I’ll be sharing more about them next time. I hope these recommendations help you as much as they’ve helped me!
